Tokyo Magnitude 8.0?
its a story about two siblings who went to a robot exhibition in Odaiba.
suddenly there was a huge earthquake at a magnitude of 8.0 and all of tokyo was destroyed.
the two of them have to find their way through the rubble of the once Tokyo city
back to their home in Setagaya, western Tokyo.
helping them is a delivery woman who is a single mother trying to go back home to find her daughter
in Sangenjaya.
because their houses are close, they embark together from Odaiba back to their respective homes in Setagaya and Sangenjaya.
this anime is very 'eye-opening'.
it gives us a second thought on life and think more about the future.
it was premiered in the famous Fuji TV timeslot noitaminA (Animation spelled backwards)
from July 9th, 2009 until September 17th, 2009.
